Round Table Games - Store Policies and Rules of Fair Play
*Returns are accepted within 30 days from purchase with a receipt. Returns will be made in the original form of payment or store credit. Returned items must be in unopened condition. Opened product cannot be returned. At store's discretion special orders can only be returned for store credit at 50% of price paid. The possibility of special order return will vary by product. All sales on single cards, used books, custom minis and collectible figures are final. At the discretion of Round Table Games special orders and pre-ordered product may be non-refundable.
Pre-Orders and Special Order Policy
* Special orders may require a deposit of 50%.
*Unpaid for items will be held 7 days from notification of receipt of items. After 7 days they will be returned to inventory, at the discretion of Round Table Games.
Items with a 50% deposit will be held for 30 days from notification of receipt of item. After 30 days they will be returned to inventory.
Store credit (not to be confused with gift cards and gift certificates) can be used for no more than 50% of a total purchase and cannot be used for tournament fees.
Lost and Found
*We will store found items for a minimum of 30 days. If you believe you may have left something at Round Table Games please let us know ASAP and we can search for it. Items left more than 30 days may be disposed of due to storage constraints.
Round Table Games does not assume any liability for lost or stolen belongings. Please always be aware of your surroundings and your personal effects.
Participation in our events may result in your photograph being taken for promotion on Round Table Games website, social media and literature. Some game companies also require photographs of our events for Organized Play support. They may use those images in their marketing efforts as well. By participating in our events you are agreeing to let your image be used as described above. If you have a concern about this policy please speak to a staff member.
Round Table Games Code of Conduct
All staff, players, spectators, customers and visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a way that ensures all participants, customers, spectators and staff, enjoy themselves as much as possible. If your conduct makes it not fun for anyone else to participate, observe, shop or be at Round Table Games, it is not allowed.
Please help us keep this place clean and welcoming to all by disposing of trash in the provided bins located throughout the game space. A bin for soda cans and bottles is also available for your convenience.
Round Table Games reserves the right to ask anyone to leave at any time and may at our sole discretion prohibit you from future events should you violate any portion of the Code of Conduct.
Player-run events have a table fee of $5 per person (excluding the game runner). $2 of every $5 will be given to the game runner in the form of store credit.
We would appreciate you not bringing in quantities of snacks and drinks as we sell those in the store. Ordering/ bringing in take out is fine, as long as you take any large containers (pizza boxes/drinks) home with you.
Please do not open bulk product purchased elsewhere.
Please make sure you take care of all of your trash and dropped food items (try to minimize the latter).
Please leave all 4 legs of your chairs on the floor at all times.
The following will not be tolerated:
Foul or Abusive Language - this will not be tolerated in Round Table Games. You may be expelled from events without prizes or refund of event fees at the sole discretion of Round Table Games staff for any derogatory, abusive, or foul language.
Bullying - including hazing, discriminatory or derogatory language, comments or activities will not be tolerated at any level.
Theft - of any property is not tolerated and will result in banning from Round Table Games and a report to local law enforcement and sanctioning body for all events.
Improper Attire - Wearing of obscene or demeaning attire is not allowed. You may be asked to leave if you are wearing anything that we believe to be inappropriate. This is at the sole discretion of Round Table Games staff. (We are at all times a family friendly location)
No Drugs or Alcohol - in or out of your person. Anyone caught with alcohol or illegal drugs at a Round Table Games or its hosted events, including parking lots may receive a life-time ban on the first offense without warning.
Violence - Violence of any kind (hitting, kicking, etc.) is not tolerated. You will be asked to leave for any violence at the discretion of Round Table Games Staff.
The following is expected from all players, customers, spectators and staff:
Fairness - Games cease to be fun when players break the rules to achieve victory. A player should prefer to lose a game than to win by cheating.
Taking advantage of inexperienced players or customers for personal gain through trades or promotion of competing businesses at our events is not fair and will not be tolerated.
Honesty - Players of any game should strive to act honestly while playing that game. If a player inadvertently breaks a rule during a game and becomes aware of the error before his or her opponent or a judge, that player should make the opponent and the judge aware of the misplay.
Observing an illegal activity and not reporting it to Round Table Games Staff immediately is a violation of the Code of Conduct. We ask that you tell us about any illegal activities involving actions in our stores or at our events. Observing illegal activity including but not limited to theft, drug possession and not reporting it makes you an accessory to the crime.
Respect - Players, spectators, customers, staff and property should be treated with the same respect that players would expect for themselves and their property. Distracting an opponent or a judge to gain advantage shows disrespect to everyone involved in an event.
Sportsmanship - Winning or losing with grace is vital to the enjoyment of any game. The desire to continue playing a game can be soured by players that berate their opponents after winning or losing a match. Demeaning, disrespectful comments, or actions before, during or after a game indicate poor sportsmanship and will not be tolerated.
Learning - We all want to play games with more people. Players should strive to help each other increase their play skills, game knowledge and experience. It is not a player’s responsibility to make his or her opponent’s plays for that opponent. However, discussing strategies, offering tips, or constructively critiquing game play decisions after a match has been completed helps both participants to become better players.
Teaching a new player to play and providing other players with a positive experience are the most valuable things any person can provide to our community. We greatly appreciate your support in our efforts to make Round Table Games and the communities we serve a safe, fun experience for all.
