What is the RTG Catan League?  Our Catan League is a way for us to track our Catan stats and earn rewards for playing and winning

What does it cost?  It's FREE!!  If you do not have a copy of Catan and are not playing a game with Candi or Chris, you can rent a copy from our library for $5 per group for the day, but if you buy the game the same day you get that $5 discounted off the price.

What do you get?

1.  Every time you submit your game results all players get RTG gold based on where they place.  Last place gets RTG gold,= to 25 x 1.5 (avg playing time) x 2.34 (avg game weight) =175 Next place up would get that amount + base = 225, next 275, etc..These calculations may vary if expansions are used in your game(s).

2.  Your game results get added into our monthly Grand Melee Joust League.  At the end of the month we will give RTG gold the same way we do for individual games (100 RTG gold for last place, 200 for next, etc., etc.).  The more players, the more RTG gold is given to the higher ranks. .

3.  If you have the highest average score you get a free non-premium drink or snack when you come in to play a Catan League game (limit 1 per day)

How is it scored?

For Highest Average Score  You get 1 point for playing + 1 point for each person you beat (top player in a 4-player game would get 4 points)

You also get points equal to your final score as a decimal added to your base score (so the above winning player would get 4.1 points, 3rd place in the same game with a final score of 7 would get 3.7 points)

For every month you do not play at least 1 game your score “decays” by 1 point.

For Monthly Grand Melee Joust League  You get 1 point for playing + 1 point for each person you beat (top player in a 4-player game would get 4 points) x 1.5 (avg playing time) x 2.34 (avg game weight).  This board re-sets each month, giving everyone a chance to try again
