Get free table space, play Magic and earn store credit (and Loyalty points if you are a



It costs $5/ day, $10/ calendar week (starting on the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd) or $25/month

to join ($5 week or $15/month for Knights of the Inner Circle). It is Free if you are a

Knight of the Joust, and also free any week you make a $50 Magic purchase. You can

also use 1,000 Loyalty points to get a free week.

Knights also earn Loyalty points just for playing.

The points you earn playing Joust League and any Magic events

we host will count toward your Magic Nobility.

The leader gets $10 off Magic events and 2nd place gets $5 off, as long as at least 8 players participate.


Each league will run for one calendar month.


You get free table space every day to play League games - Please notify us when you expect to be in so we can make sure space is reserved for you.


You can play whenever you like against anyone else in the league.


Prizes will be awarded by point standing at the end of each month.


The prize pool will consist of all league fees paid in for the month, awarded as store



The top 3 finishers will split the prize 50/30/20 and first place may get an additional prize. All participants will earn Loyalty points as well.


Format:  Any format agreed upon by 2 players (Vintage, Legacy, Standard, Brawl , Commander , Frontier, Pauper, Modern, Winchester Draft, Totally Lost in Translation, etc.) - multi-player is scored differently (all players must be in the League). 

No proxies allowed.



Two-player games should be best 2 out of 3 (if you only get 1 game in it will be worth 1/3 points).  Multiplayer games can be best of 1. Some formats are weighted heavier than others.  Points earned by the victor are modified by the relative rank of their opponent.

Sideboarding is allowed


You get 1 point per game played and 1 point per game won. You get 1 additional point if you play on League Night.


Draft (with packs purchased from RTG the day of your match) earns each player and extra point.


Sealed and Winchester Draft (with packs purchased from RTG the day of your match) earns each player two extra points.


Each game after the first against the same opponent in any given day will be worth increasingly fewer points, reduced by a cumulative 10% (game 1 is worth 100%, game 2 is worth 90%, 3 worth 80%, etc. - to a max of 10 games against the same player in a given day)


Games must be played in store to count toward the league,.

Special Seasonal Format!

Starting now, we are adding a new tribal component to our Magic Joust League.  Underworld Lycans vs Slayers.  This is a tribal Pioneer-legal format.  

Choose a tribe: Vampire or Werewolf.  

Your deck must consist of 1/3 the total cards with your tribe as a subtype of those cards.  

You may not include ANY cards with your opposing tribe as a subtype of a card.

Tribal League games will count as x 2 points for the purposes of league totals and Magic Nobility totals.

At the end of the month, all players who represented the tribe with the most points (and played a min # of games against the other tribe) will win a promo pack. Tribal points may be weighted based on numbers of players on each side.
